Fartstid ca. 68 måneder.

Seilte i handelsflåten og var bl.a. ombord på M/T MINISTER WEDEL av Oslo. Rederiet Karl Brusgaard, da skipet ble torpedert 9. januar 1943 på vei fra Trinidad til Giberaltar.

Ble antatt i marinen 28.4.1943 og gjorde tjeneste som kokk ved SSH Dumbarton til 23.6.1945.

Han ble tildelt Deltakermedaljen.
