Var lettmatros ombord på M/T STORSTAD som ble kapret av tysk raider PINGUIN den 7.10.1940. Mannskapet ankom til Bordeaux den 3.2.1941. Videresendt via. Nantes til Hamburg. Den 6.4.1941 ble mannskapet hjemsendt til Norge, med ankomst Oslo den 10.4.1941.Fangenskapslønn fra 8.12.1940 til 10.6.1941.
