Var på hvalfangst da krigen brøt ut, tjenestegjorde senere i handelsflåten, sist på d/s Norse King. Skipet, som var på vei til Boston, ble torpedert 28. desember 1942. Mannskapet ble tatt opp av et eskortefartøy, men satt ombord igjen dagen etter. Skipet ble sist sett 29. desember med kurs for Asorene.
