M/S MORVIKEN kapret og senket av tysk raider PINGUIN "ca 300 n.m. øst for Madagascar" i Det Indiske hav 27.8.1940. Besetningen overført til PINGUIN, senere til M/S NORDVARD som ble kapret 16.9.1940, og med prisemannskap ombord, ankom Bordeaux 22.11.1940. Via fangeleirer i Frankrige og Tyskland ankom de Oslo 3.5.1941 ombord i D/S DONAU.
Mottok fangenskapslønn t.o.m. 9.10.1941.
