"Gift 1927 i Glemmen, ekteskapet oppløst 1939. 5 barn. Var til sjøs under forrige verdenskrig, ble da torpedert og lå i Nordsjøen i 5 døgn før han ble reddet. Under hele siste krig seilte han i alliert fart og ble torpedert flere ganger, hadde derfor hatt mange påkjenninger som forårsaket hjertelidelse, og han døde 25. januar 1945. Var da stuert på m/t Jenny. Gravlagt i Fredrikstad".
