Krigsseileren vitnet ved sjøforklaring holdt på det Kongelige Norske Konsulat i Liverpool den 28. februar 1917, etter at jernfullriggeren BLENHEIM ble senket av en tysk ubåt den 22. februar 1917. Skipet ble senket SSW av Fastnet på reise Pensacola til Greenock med trelast.
