«Hadde reist som matros i utenriksfart siden 1934. Satt i fangenskap i åtte måneder i Italia 1940–41. Kom så til Göteborg og reiste ut med M/T Buccaneer. I mars 1942 ble båten senket og mannskapet sendt som fanger til Tyskland. Ola Følsvik døde i august 1944 i Sonnenburg fangeleir».
