«Framhaldsskole og skoleskipskurs. Var før krigen matros i utenriksfart. Da krigen brøt ut, tjenestegjorde han som utskreven dekksmann på p/s Norge, og omkom da skipet ble senket på havnen i Narvik. Omtalt i Bygdeungdommen 1941».
