Våre Falne:
BORGEN, ROLF, kaptein, Asker. Født 4. januar 1897 i Oslo, s. av Julius Borgen, f. 1866 i Skiptvet, og Anna f. Johansen, f. 1869 i Drammen. Gift 1928 i Oslo med Lilly Alfrida, f. 1898 i Oslo. 2 barn. Styrmanns- og skipperskole. Seilte under forrige verdenskrig i fraktfart mellom England og Frankrike. Var under siste krig kaptein på D/S ALMORA, og omkom 6. mai 1944 da skipet ble bombet på Hustadvika, kom i brann og drev i land sønnafor Kvitholmen.

I sjøforklaring knyttet til hendelser i februar 1943, så står det at Borgen "Vitnet har vært styrmann på "Almora" i vel 3 år".
