Historikk 1. verdenskrig:
Sjømannen vitnet ved sjøforklaring holdt den 17. mars 1917 ved det Kgl. Norske Generalkonsulat i Rotterdam, etter at TS Davanger ble senket den 14. mars av tysk ubåt i pos. 40 n.m. WNW av Hook van Holland, på reise New York til Rotterdam med bygg. Alle reddet.
