Reiste i 1944 med en lekter til Nord-Norge på arbeid. Omkom 1. november 1944 på hjemreise med D/S STORTIND da skipet, som var lastet med bensin, kom i brann da det lå i Billefjord i Finnmark, og sank etter en eksplosjon.
