Født 6. juni 1922 på Sjernarøy, s. til Olav Person Nedrebø, f. 1895 på Sjernarøy, og Klara Johannesdotter, f. 1899. Skoleskipskurs. Ble ansatt som matros på «Brand IV», som ble brukt til hospitalskip da krigen brøt ut. De kom til Ålesund med 50 sårede og hadde satt dem i land. De skulle akkurat gå da skipet ble bombet, og Hidle ble drept 29. april 1940. Gravlagt i Ålesund.
