KARLSEN, ODDVAR BERTRAND, student, Narvik. Født 28. januar 1924 i Narvik, s. av Bertrand Marinius Karlsen, f. 1882 i Tromsø, og Agnes Marie f. Johansen, f. 1899 i Mosjøen. Reiste til Sverige under krigen og tok artium der. Etter endt eksamen reiste han over til England og ble kadett-aspirant ombord på korvetten TUNSBERG CASTLE. Omkom 12. desember 1944 da skipet forliste utenfor Nord-Norge.
