Registernummer under krigen: London 120099.
Thorsheimer ankom Gibraltar fra Curacao i mai måned 1940. Hun avgikk Gibraltar med kurs for La Spezia 16. mai 1940. Etter ankomst ble hun den 10, juni 1940 beslaglagt av italienske myndigheter og besetningen ble internert.
Besetningen ble senere sendt hjem til Norge og skipet overtatt av tyskerne på et senere tidspunkt.
