Våre falne:
Ble utkommandert til tysk arbeid, hjalp russiske krigsfanger med mat og klær, ble senere tvunget til å reise med d/s Korsnes som gikk under tysk bevoktning. Den 27. november 1944 ble skipet angrepet av fly sør for Sandnessjøen, og han ble da truffet av prosjektiler fra flyet og drept. Gravlagt i Bergen.
