VG Våre falne:
Gift 1935 i Oslo med Alfhild Johanna Marie Simonsen, f. i Torsken. Var kelner på d/s Biarritz og omkom 25. januar 1940 sammen med sin hustru da skipet sank etter en eksplosjon antagelig forårsaket av en mine, 3,5 n. mil vest for Ymuiden på vei fra Antwerpen til Oslo.
