Historikk 1. verdenskrig:
Sjømannen vitnet ved sjørett holdt den 11. april 1917, i Bergen byretts lokaler, etter at DS OS den 29. mars 1917 ble senket 25 n. mil NW av Noup Head ved Orkenøyene i pos. N 59 32 - W 03 20 av tysk ubåt U-60, på reise Llanelly til Kristiansand med kull og aluminium.
