Var båtsmann på D/S PRINSESSE RAGNHILD, og omkom 23. oktober 1940 da skipet sank etter en mineeksplosjon litt nord for Bodø, på reise fra Bergen til Kirkenes. Omtalt i Nidaros i juni 1945.
