NORMANN, SVERRE VIDAR, maskinmester, Nordstrand i Aker. Født 11. januar 1910 i Ålesund, s. av kjøpmann Amund C. Normann, f. 1875 i Skodje, og Magdalene Janneche f. Nielsen, f. 1865 i Herdla. Gift 1930 i Ålesund med Åsta Walderhaug, f. 1906 i Bremanger. 2 barn. Teknisk skole, maskinistskole. Var maskinmester på m/s Ronda som gikk i fart mellom Sør-Amerika og Europa. Omkom 13. september 1939 da skipet støtte på en mine og sank ved Terschelling fyr utenfor Nederland. Omtalt i Kjell Lynau: De gav sitt liv. (Fra «Våre falne»)
