«Gift i Bergen med Clara Helene Johannesen, f. 1890 s. st. 1 barn. Var til sjøs under forrige verdenskrig, seilte i mellomkrigsårene på de fleste verdenshav. Under siste krig var han 1. maskinist på d/s Sig til skipet krigsforliste utenfor England, og han omkom 4. november 1939. En antar at skipet ble torpedert».
