Våre Falne:
FALNES, KRISTIAN, sjømann, Stavanger. Født 2. januar 1915 i Skudeneshavn, s. av Jakob Ingolf Jakobsen Falnes, f. 1885 i Skudenes, og Ida Malene f. Rasmussen, f. 1887 i Skudeneshavn. Båtsmannskole. Var matros på d/s Biarritz, og omkom da skipet ble minesprengt (torpedert) utenfor Holland 25. januar 1940 på vei fra Antwerpen til Oslo.
