FLÅGØY, FRITJOF, lettmatros, Fjell. Født 26. januar 1919 i Fjell, s. av Andreas Olsen, f. 1884, og Britha f. Hansen, f. 1884, begge i Fjell. Omkom 27. januar 1940 sammen med sin bror Olav da d/s Hosanger sank i Nordsjøen etter en eksplosjon. Båten var på vei fra Gøteborg til Leith. Av mannskapet, 18 mann, ble bare én reddet. Navn i sjøforklaring til "Hosanger" Frithjof Andreassen.
Han er bror til Olav Andreassen Flågøy som også omkom ved "Hosangers" forlis.
