BAKKEN, OLAF ANDREAS, messegutt, Oslo. Født 10. februar 1921 i Ø. Aker, s. av Bernt Olai Bakken, f. 1867 i Vanylven, d. 1941 i Oslo, og Martha Amalie Strand, f. 1878 i Eidsvoll. Seilte først som messegutt på t/s Slemdal, senere på den svenske båt «Kanton». Omkom 9. august 1940 da skipet ble torpedert utenfor Englands vestkyst. (Fra «Våre falne»)
