Var under krigen fyrbøter på D/S PRINSESSE RAGNHILD, og omkom 23. oktober 1940 da skipet sank på vei fra Bergen til Kirkenes etter en eksplosjon ved Hovden litt nord for Bodø, antagelig på grunn av en mine.
