Var ved krigens utbrudd nøytralitetsvakt på oppsynsskipet MICHAEL SARS som ble senket ved Narvik. Var senere med i saniteten under krigsoperasjonene i Narvik. Omkom da D/S IRMA ble torpedert på Hustadvika 13. februar 1944.
