BLIX, PETER, journalist, Oslo. Født 13. februar 1915 i China, s. av Carl Blix, f. 1881 i Oslo, og Dorthy f. Grundy, f. 1893 i Manchester, d. 1931 i Shanghai. Trent College, England, journalist ved Reuters telegrambyrås kontor i Shanghai, senere i Canton. Reiste fra Norge med d/s Snestad og omkom 11. februar 1940 da skipet ble torpedert.
Det korrekte at han ble reddet (sammen med resten av mannskapet) av Albert L. Ellsworth.
Da dette skipet ble angrepet 13. februar 1940 så ble han drept (han var passasjer på dette skipet).
