Tok hyre på M/T FOSNA i 1939, og gjekk inn i hæren i Canada 3. august 1942. Var med (som passasjer) på D/S KOSMOS II på veg frå New York til England, og sette livet til då skipet vart torpedert 29. oktober 1942.
