Våre falne:
"Gift 1938 i Porsgrunn med Winnie Gunhilde Seth, f. 1906 i Skien. Middelskole, styrmannsskole. Dro til sjøs i 1939 med m/t Realf, var utsatt for torpedering, ble reddet og dro til Norge hvor han tok arbeid på Raufoss fabrikker. Sluttet da tyskerne overtok fabrikken og dro til sjøs igjen. Var på d/s Birk da det lå for anker ved Kirkenes. Omkom 15. februar 1942 da skipet under en kraftig storm slet fortøyningene og drev ned på et minefelt og eksploderte".
