"Var matros på d/s Jupiter, men avmønstret på grunn av sykdom. Reiste nordover med hurtigruten d/s Vesteraalen for ny påmønstring i Hammerfest. Omkom da skipet sank utenfor Nuvsvåg i Finnmark 17. oktober 1941 etter en eksplosjon".
