11/1942: Torpedert og senket 2/11-42 av tysk ubåt U-172 (korvettenkapitän Carl Emmermann) i pos. S 27.03', W 02.59 på reise fra New York, Trinidad, Durban, Saldanha Bay til Bombay med 9024 millitær utstyr. 24 mann omkon - 20 mann reddet. 17 mann og tre skyttere ble reddet av den norske skip OLAF BERGH og landsatt i Port of Spain, Trinidad.
