Gift 1911 i Tønsberg med Lina Mathilde, f. 1883 i Stokke. 2 barn. Stuertskole. Var på d/s Annavore, og omkom 21. desember 1941 da skipet, som gikk i konvoi, ble torpedert i Atlanterhavet, på reise fra Huelva via Gibraltar til Oban.
