Skipet ble kapret av japanerne 07/12/1941. Andresen var internert om bord til skipet ankom Shanghai 17/03/1942. Han ble innlosjert på land i Shanghai til han ble hjemsendt med TAMAROA. Britisk troppetransport, 23/11/1945 og ankom Liverpool 30/12/1945. Reist til Norge med BRETAGNE fra Newcastle 05/01/1946.
