NIELSEN, TOLLEF KRISTIAN, maskinmester, Sandefjord. Født 5. august 1885 i Sandefjord, s. av Tollef Nielsen, f. 1854, og Berte Johanne f. Løwe, f. 1856, begge døde. Gift 1914 i Sandefjord med Hildur Konstance Broms, f. 1891 i Tvedestrand. 3 barn. Var maskinmester på D/S FAGERSTEN som seilte i konvoi fra U.S.A. til en britisk havn da det ble torpedert 13. oktober 1942 av tyske ubåter, ca. 450 n. mil av Newfoundland. På grunn av uvær kom bare én livbåt på vannet, og flere av mannskapet gikk ned med skipet.
