WATTERUD, SIMON GABRIEL, matros, Sørum. Født 4. januar 1922 i Sørum, s. av Helmer Kristiansen Watterud, f. 1879 i Oslo, og Mathilde f. Martinsen, f. 1880 i Grue. Var på d/s Fidelio, og omkom 9. november 1942 da skipet ble torpedert og sank i nærheten av Lowestoft, på reise fra London til Tyne. (Fra «Våre falne»)
