"Gift 1926 i Bergen med Ida Ingebrigtsen, f. 1894 i Lødingen. 2 barn. Var på D/S NAVARRA som ble torpedert 6. april 1940, men ble da reddet. Gikk etter et sykehusopphold ut med D/S CHRISTIAN KROGH, og omkom 10. juni 1941 da skipet ble senket av tysk u-båt. Det var på vei fra Oban til Father Point, St. Lawrence".
