- Olav Aune berget livet takket være en liknende manøver som det M/S "Borgestad" utførte. Denne gangen var det britiske HMS Jervis Bay som seilte mot den fryktede tyske krysseren Admiral Scheer. Rapporten vedlagt er utarbeidet av Aune. Aune overleverte dokumentet til Arkivet i forbindelse med dåpen av D/S "Hestmanden" og møte med kong Harald i november 2011.
