BERG, BJARNE INGOLF, lettmatros, Verran. Født 13. februar 1921 i Verran, s. av Henrik Berg, f. 1884, og Anne f. Overrein, f. 1893 i Egge. Gikk til sjøs da han var 17 ar og reiste med forskjellige båter, inntil han under krigen var forhyret på m/s Danio og døde ombord 2. oktober 1942, mens skipet befant seg på Stillehavet.
