Nortrashipsflåtens Skyttere 1941 til 1946:
Skytter nr. 1103.
Antatt i marinen og ble utdannet til skytter i SSH Dumbarton fra den 24.8.1942 til 29.9.1942.
Senere gjorde han tjeneste som skytter på følgende norske handelsskip:
M/T DAGHILD fra 30.9.1942 til 10.10.1942. (Skipet ble ført av kapt. O.K. Egideus og seilte i konvoi i september 1942 fra England til USA. Underveis 12.9.1942 ble skipet rammet av en tysk torpedo, men til tross for dette holdt skipet sin plass i konvoien til det ble lyst. Det viste seg at torpedoen hadde truffet en av tankene, og laget et hull på 50x54 foot. Skaden ble utbedret i New York)

M/S GENERAL RUGE fra 19.4.1943 til 24.2.1944.
T/T HEGRA fra 30.3.1944 til 6.11.1944.

M/T SKOTAAS fra 5.7.1945 til 29.10.1945.
